This is a full-time hourly position located in Baltimore, Maryland. The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Manager. The compensation range for this position is $34.11-$45.84 per hour plus a 10% bonus target. \n\nResponsibilities \nMaintain safe working conditions in accordance with established Company policies.\nIdentify, report and/or correct unsafe work environments.\nAssures compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.\nParticipates in on-scene work taking direction from others.\nOperate all hand/power tools in a competent manner.\nInstall, repair, replace, and troubleshoot plant equipment to include basic piping systems, valves, traps, pumps. \nPerform preventive maintenance as scheduled.\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nExercise caution in the use and maintenance of all company equipment.\nMust be able to work overtime as required.\nAssigned to rotating on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays\n\nBasic Qualifications\nHS Diploma or GED.\nMinimum 1 year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to communicate orally and in writing.\nAbility to work with minimum supervision.\n6G Welding Certification\n\nPhysical Requirements \nMust submit to company provided pre-employment physical and drug screening.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and insurable by Company’s vehicle insurance carrier.
