Rework or disposition materials as appropriate.\nWrites qualification reports and prepares presentations for peer review covering process improvement activities to support technologies being developed that our customers use in applications\nDeveloping, qualifying and programming automated and semi auto equipment.\nConnect with vendors to identify new equipment needs supporting Vicor’s expansion and leading to better yield and/or cost savings\nWork independently as well as lead cross-functional development teams.\nWork with Design, Test, and Quality Engineering to implement yield and quality enhancements\nWork with hourly production and maintenance personnel to improve line performance and equipment uptime\nReview all new product designs for compatibility with process capability. Make recommendations on new designs.\nIdentify and analyze data for trends\nWrite and submit manufacturing documentation\nInvestigate problems, determine root cause, and implement corrective and preventative actions through DMAIC method.\nExpected to be hands on with equipment, including occasional maintenance and troubleshooting\nEducation / Qualifications\nBachelor 's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mech Tech. MS Degree is a Plus.\n1+ year of experience gained through Co-op or internship experience\nExperience with Automotive Requirements such as IATF 16949 Certification, PPAP, BIQ, FTQ a plus.\nExperience using design based software systems including Solid Works, Pro Engineer, or Auto CAD.\nAbility to understand, analyze, and resolve moderately complex technical problems\nCompensation Data\nSalary:\n$85,000 - $90,000\nPlease note : This range is based on our current market driven pay structures.
