Learn more about how our innovative piping products and design services can engineer confidence into your build by visiting our website.\nThe Role\nThe Junior Credit Controller will support the Credit Control Team in managing customer accounts in EMEA, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an entry-level to early-career role, well suited to someone looking to build a career in credit control or in finance more broadly. You'll work closely with senior credit controllers, Customer Care and Sales representatives to keep customer accounts healthy and up to date.\nWhat you will do\nChase outstanding customer debts by phone, email, and letter, in line with company credit policy\n\nAllocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts\n\nMaintain up-to-date, accurate records of all collection activity in the credit control system\n\nFollow up on queries and disputes relating to invoices, working closely with the Customer Care Claims team\n\nMonitor customer accounts for overdue or delayed payment and take proactive action\n\nAssist in preparing aged debt reports and credit control statistics\n\nSupport the wider team with reconciliations and account queries\n\nSend monthly statements to customers\n\nEscalate problem accounts to senior team members or management as needed\n\nEnsure compliance with company credit control procedures\n\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with customers, both internal and external\n\nAbout You\nPreferably a bachelor’s degree .\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills\n\nConfident, professional telephone manner\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage a varied workload\n\nStrong numeracy and attention to detail\n\nA proactive, problem-solving attitude\n\nBasic understanding of accounts receivable / credit control processes (previous experience is a plus, but not essential)\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy\n\nExperience with ERP software desirable, but not essential\n\nResilient, and able to handle difficult conversations calmly\n\nTeam player with a willingness to learn\n\nOrganized, with good time management skills\n\nWhat working at Victaulic offers\nAttractive remuneration package - including health insurance, pension plan, meal vouchers and eco vouchers.\n\nPersonal growth - Cultivate personal growth through a well-defined career path offering annual progression opportunities.
