This is an opportunity to lead metallurgical performance, strengthen technical capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across casting and metal transformation processes.\nWHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN\nDaily processwalkthroughs,monitoring metal transformation to ensure quality standards are met.\n\nPerform metallurgical analysis, laboratory testing, and material evaluations to ensure products meet technical and regulatory specifications.\n\nOptimizeproduction byidentifyingimprovement opportunities in existing processes and proposing solutions to increase productivity and reduce waste.\n\nEnsure activitiescomply withapplicable safety, occupational health, environmental, quality, and industry regulations and standards.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production to resolve technical issues andoptimizeoverall operations.\n\nMentor Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance personnel on metallurgical processes and requirements.\n\nMaintain assertive communication with Corporateregardingmetallurgical topics, projects, and operational needs.\n\nAssistas a primary contact for issues related to the metal composition of casting products.\n\nManage and train assigned resources to support technical development and operational requirements.\n\nMaintainaccurateprocess records, test results, and analyses, and prepare technical reports and recommendations for management and other teams.\n\nAnalyze metallurgical test results and material evaluations, and make decisions based on the available data and findings.\n\nResolve quality issues by addressing technical problems, proposing solutions, and overseeing implementation.\n\nMaintain records of weekly activities, prepare technical reports, and update documentation related to processes and projects.\n\nDiagnose and resolve technical issues during daily operations, working with multidisciplinary teams as needed.\n\nParticipate in continuous process improvement programs.\n\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge through training courses, seminars, conferences, and updates on technological and regulatory advances in metallurgy.\n\nParticipate in team meetings, report project progress, and discuss strategies to improve efficiency and quality.\n\nAdvance assigned projects, ensuring established deadlines and budgets are met.\n\nPublish a monthly quality report analyzing quality test results, including strength, hardness, chemical composition, and other applicable characteristics, and assess compliance with technical specifications and regulations.\n\nGenerate andsubmita monthly metallurgical analysis report to management, summarizing analyses performed, including microstructures, heat treatments, and mechanical and physical properties of processed metals.\n\nProvide training and coaching reports for personnel under supervision, focused on technical skill development and compliance with training requirements.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineeringora relatedfield.\n\nEnglishproficiency.\n\nAt least 8 years of experience in a similar position.\n\nExperience in nodular iron manufacturing.\n\nExperience with in-process molding.\n\nKnowledge of induction furnace refractory maintenance.\n\nExperience with sand molding processes.\n\nKnowledge of statistical tools.\n\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.\n\nExperience with data and trend analysis.\n\nExperience preparing documentation, procedures, method sheets, and forms.\n\nKnowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerances.\n\nWHAT SETS YOU APART\nAdvanced experience in metallurgical analysis, including microstructures, heat treatments, and mechanical and physical properties of metals.\n\nExperience leading technical investigations and resolving metallurgical and casting quality issues.\n\nAbility to mentor multidisciplinary personnel and manage technical resources.\n\nStrong cross-functional andCorporatecommunication skills, with experience presenting technical reports and recommendations.\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\nBuild A Better Career\nCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentives.\n\nCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways.
