In this role, you'll oversee the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving operational excellence, while leading project execution teams and coordinating project documentation. You'll work closely with internal teams, designers, suppliers, and construction partners to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and within scope. This is an opportunity to bring strong project management discipline to high-complexity, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment.\nWHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN\nManage the delivery of projects to meet schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives to the full satisfaction of customers, leading project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation through discussions with clients to define scope, deliverables, and timing\nReview projects with the Project Team and meet regularly for updates on deliverables against plan\nLead delivery of project scope and management of risk, including proper management of deliverables within estimated timeframes and notifying management of issues that could impact cost or schedule\nArrange and lead meetings to coordinate the requirements of, and progress by, designers, suppliers, and construction teams\nMaintain close liaison with project teams on design, schedule, costing, and related issues; provide regular project reports to management; monitor, evaluate, and report on cost and schedule; manage changes; review cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions\nEvaluate project plans at every stage for risk and develop mitigation plans\nMaintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, arranging and chairing meetings to efficiently and effectively meet project objectives\nGuide and direct discussions involving internal staff, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers\nCoordinate the preparation of project turnover documentation, ensuring completeness, and document and address outstanding project deficiencies\nManage and report on project performance to management and other stakeholders\nAuthorize project expenditures (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, expense claims) within limits of delegated authority\nOversee multiple projects and remain accountable for all facets of assigned project(s)\nOwn internal and external project communication through frequent reporting, informal and formal presentations, and written reports\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, setting priorities, evaluating and managing risks, and monitoring performance\nDevelop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations\nIdentify, communicate, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues\nCoordinate internal teams and external entities to ensure seamless execution\nDevelop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project performance and efficiency\nEnsure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards, maintaining awareness of technological advancements in project management, engineering, and construction fields\nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field\nMinimum 5 years of construction and heavy industrial experience in project management or a related leadership role, including developing project requirements and plans, preparing cost estimates, participating in contract bidding and award processes, and managing projects through planning, execution, and closeout phases\nKnowledge of project management principles, specifically the 5 primary project phases (Identification, Initiation, Definition, Execution, Closeout)\nExperience managing conflicting priorities of scope, schedule, cost, and quality\nKnowledge of business principles to provide project cost accounting, cost estimates, and forecasts as they relate to project management\nKnowledge of commercial contracting methods, contract management, construction methods, codes and standards, quality assurance, and health and safety\nStrong organizational skills\nExperience and ability as a team player to understand and manage the interrelationships of various internal and external groups in order to facilitate objectives and ensure projects satisfy stakeholder requirements\nExperience managing projects of increasing complexity, normally defined by multiple-contract, multiple-stakeholder projects with schedule constraints\nAbility to appropriately manage approximately 5 projects simultaneously\nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)\nExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills\nProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana)\nValid driver's license in good standing\nWillingness to travel up to
