In this role, you'll oversee all financial activities for the assigned plant within Victaulic's multi-site operating environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective cost management. You'll partner with plant operations, other site controllers, and corporate finance resources to support decision-making, drive operational efficiency, and ensure consistency across locations. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted financial business partner to plant leadership while contributing to cross-site standardization and best practices.\nWHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the assigned plant within a multi-site structure\nLead the monthly close process for the plant, coordinating timelines and requirements with corporate finance\nEnsure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and standardized reporting practices across sites\nProvide financial explanations for plant performance versus budget, forecast, prior periods, and peer-site benchmarks\nMaintain and analyze standard costs and job costing, including material, labor, and overhead, in alignment with company-wide costing methodologies\nAnalyze manufacturing variances (PPV, usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption) and compare performance across sites\nSupport inventory valuation, reserves, cycle counts, and physical inventories, ensuring consistency with multi-site inventory policies and controls\nMonitor and analyze scrap, rework, and yield metrics, including cross-site comparisons\nSupport capital project analysis, capitalization, and depreciation in coordination with corporate\nLead the annual budget and periodic forecast updates for the assigned plant within the broader multi-site planning process\nPartner with plant leadership and corporate finance resources to develop aligned production, cost, and capital assumptions\nTrack performance against budget and forecast, identifying site-specific risks and opportunities\nEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policies across the plant, and coordinate with corporate and other plant controllers to support internal and external audits\nMaintain strong segregation of duties and standardized controls over inventory, fixed assets, and expenditures\nAct as a financial business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leadership, collaborating with other site controllers and corporate finance to drive consistency, transparency, and best practices across locations\nProvide financial insights to support pricing, sourcing, make/buy decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives\nParticipate in cross-site finance initiatives, process standardization, and system improvements\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n5-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing or cost accounting\nStrong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes\nSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks\nExperience with ERP systems used in multi-site environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)\nAdvanced Excel skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into operational insights across multiple locations\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed organization\nDetail-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a multi-site close environment\nWillingness to maintain on-site presence at the assigned manufacturing facility, work periodic overtime during month-end, year-end close, forecasting, and budget cycles, and travel occasionally to corporate offices or other plant locations as required\nWHAT SETS YOU APART\nCPA or CMA designation\nPrior experience in a multi-site manufacturing or matrixed organization\nExperience with BI or enterprise reporting tools\nWHAT WE OFFER\nBuild A Better Career\nCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentives\nCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways-we build from within\nTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities\nBuild A Better Future\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage\nRetirement savings plans with company match\nLife insurance and disability coverage\nBuild A Better You\nPaid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable\nEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resources\nInclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another\nBuild A Better World\nJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.\nIMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP\nVictaulic does not provide immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or other work visa sponsorship) for this position.
