This role organizes work, supervises the assigned fabrication cell technicians, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, productivity, corporate policy, and procedural requirements.\nThe responsibilities below are the essential duties of the role. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager Fabrication Operations EMEA.\nSafety, health and environment\nAct as the safety lead for the fabrication cell and enforce all safety rules, corporate policies and procedures.\nHold toolbox talks and communicate safety instructions to the cell technicians.\nEnsure lock-out / tag-out and other safe working procedures are applied to all equipment.\nAssist in risk assessments for the activities in the fab cell.\nReport incidents and near misses, support the investigation and follow up on corrective actions.\nEnsure the correct personal protective equipment is available and worn.\nPeople and work organization\nOrganize and direct the daily work of the fabrication cell technicians.\nAssist in determining the daily workload and the labor required for jobs.\nCoordinate subcontracted activities such as welding or painting.\nOnboard new technicians and organize cross-training within the fab cell.\nAssist in maintaining the skills matrix and confirm technician competence per workstation.\nProvide day-to-day coaching and feedback.\nFabrication execution\nCoordinate all activities relating to the fabrication cell, including cutting and grooving pipe and the physical assembly of spool pieces and headers.\nEnsure all fabrication deliverables such as drawings and cut sheets are reviewed and meet the specification of the job.\nReview all paperwork to account for special notes or instructions.\nAssist in the pick, pack and load of all orders as required.\nOrganize the assembly of demonstration material requested by the Marketing or Regulatory department.\nQuality and compliance\nEnsure all required quality checks are carried out by all employees.\nAssist in the calibration of all measuring equipment within the fabrication facility.\nAdhere to all established policies, procedures and the code of ethics.\nMaterials and inventory\nMaintain an accurate inventory: review and amend stock levels as needed and apply cycle counting and good inventory management practices.\nCoordinate with the Operations Team and Customer Care on all order requirements and delivery dates.\nReceive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers and outside vendors.\nRecord all transactions in the Branch Locator system (M3).\nEquipment, maintenance and housekeeping\nEnsure preventive maintenance (PM) is carried out in a timely manner on all pertinent equipment.\nEstablish, review, update and post standard work visuals at the workstations.\nKeep the prefabrication area clean, tidy and safe through housekeeping and routine maintenance.\nContinuous improvement\nIdentify and propose improvements to layout, standard work and material flow that improve safety, quality, delivery or productivity.\nSupport the implementation of improvement initiatives and train the technicians on revised standard work.\nRequired\nSecondary or technical secondary education.\nA minimum of 3 years of technical experience.\nAbility to read and understand blueprint and schematic drawings and to interpret technical manuals.\nBasic inventory management skills.\nPrevious forklift experience: a forklift license is required for all specified equipment and must be obtained after employment.\nExperience working with an ERP package.\nStrong coordination and follow-up skills.\nAble to easily get in contact with different people.\nWillingness to travel as needed.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3711,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mechanical Components & Fasteners","Building Materials"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-28T01:23:26Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
