With over 2000 global patents, Victaulic solutions are at work in more than 140 countries across diverse business lines including oil and gas, chemical, mining, power generation, water and wastewater treatment, military and marine, as well as commercial building and fire protection.\nResponsibilities\nProduction Engineering:\nGenerate project specific submittals for customer support\nCreate Bills Of Materials, including parent and child part codes \nEnsure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and environmental requirements. \nMonitor production progress and provide necessary assistance to address any issues with the interpretation of drawings. \nCost Estimation:\nValidate the existence of equipment capabilities, material availability, and necessary skill sets to manufacture the project \nPrepare detailed cost estimates for production projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. \nAnalyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to create accurate estimates. \nReview and adjust estimates based on project changes and updates. \n Qualifications (education, experience, skills)\nB.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. \n0-3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. \nFamiliarity with basic engineering principles and strong mathematical ability; solid \nunderstanding of geometry and trigonometry is required. \nExperience and proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite is required.\nWorking knowledge in computer aided design/drawing software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is required.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nDetail oriented and analytical. \nQuick learner and self-motivated; possess ability to promptly accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. \nFamiliarity with AWWA specifications, ASTM standards and/or ASME boiler & pressure vessel code as relevant to the piping and coupling industry would be beneficial. \nShould possess a general knowledge of steel fabrication techniques and properties of materials. \nFamiliarity with database management would be beneficial. \nVictaulic is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
