In this role, you’ll lead day-to-day quality assurance activities on the floor, supervising the quality team and ensuring consistent product and process quality in line with our Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements. You’ll own first-line quality execution - inspections, non-conformance handling, and corrective action follow-through - while partnering closely with Production, Engineering, and the Quality Manager. This is an opportunity to build a culture of quality accountability and continuous improvement across the floor.\nWHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN\nSupport the maintenance of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001 and applicable standards.\nEnsure daily quality activities and documentation align with QMS procedures and company policy.\nMaintain necessary records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, and assist with internal and external audits.\nSupervise quality inspectors and technicians, assigning daily priorities and monitoring performance.\nProvide coaching, training, and on-the-floor guidance to strengthen inspection accuracy and quality discipline.\nFoster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability among the production team.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the quality team in partnership with the Quality Manager and HR.\nLead investigations into product non-conformances and drive root cause analysis.\nImplement corrective and preventive action plans and monitor remediation effectiveness.\nFlag recurring quality issues and escalate to the Quality Manager with supporting data.\nConduct regular audits of the production floor to ensure adherence to the QMS and identify areas for improvement.\nTrack key quality metrics for the area and report performance trends to the Quality Manager.\nPartner with Operations, Engineering, and other departments to ensure customer and Victaulic requirements are met.\nWHAT YOU BRING\n3-5+ years of experience in quality within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nWorking knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO 9001.\nAbility to quickly learn and understand new concepts.\nGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, organized updates to peers and leadership.\nAbility to make independent decisions and drive corrective action without direct supervisory assistance.\nComfortable dividing time between the manufacturing floor and office settings, with PPE compliance required in operational areas.\nWHAT SETS YOU APART\nPrior lead or supervisory experience.\nASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Quality Engineer certification.\nSix Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent).\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nBuild A Better Career\nCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentives \nCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways-we build from within \nTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities \nBuild A Better Future\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage \nRetirement savings plans with company match \nLife insurance and disability coverage \nBuild A Better You\nPaid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable \nEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resources \nInclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another \nBuild A Better World\nJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.\nIMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP\nVictaulic does not provide immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or other work visa sponsorship) for this position.
