Today, our high-quality products are used in more than 140 countries, supporting some of the world’s most critical and prestigious structures.\nPosition: Sales Engineer - Fire Protection\nReports To: Regional Sales Manager\nLocation: Bangalore (Remote)\nExperience: 7 - 10 years\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for sales and promotion of the Company product range in his territory\nProspect and visit Owners, Engineering Offices - MEP Consultants, Job Sites, PMC, Architects, Contractors, Distributors, and all other relevant instances to promote the Victaulic System in his territory.\nDemonstrate and explain the Victaulic tools.\nPursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by the Industry, Owners, Engineering Companies and Contractors.\nEnsure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic System is present in his territory, through usage of adequate means such as seminars, training, technical literature, and technical support.\nParticipate at trade shows and other promotional activities beneficial to the promotion of the Victaulic system.\nLiaise with the local Victaulic distributor to ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.\nVisit job sites and follow up on the installation process of the Victaulic System by the contractors. Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic system if required.\nHandle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering.\nProvide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables for customers\nReport on weekly basis to his superior on activities and marketing information in his territory. Using SPM as required by company policy. Achieve budgeted sales and results in his territory.\nCo-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nUniversity or College degree, preferably as mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge acquired through experience.\nFamiliarity with the Piping Products & System or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
