This includes product and process audits, development, corrective action, supplier performance monitoring, and production process evaluation and improvement. Collaborate with both new and existing suppliers to ensure that supplied materials and components meet Victaulic’s quality standards and specifications.\nWhat you will do\nCollaborate with Sourcing and cross-functional teams to drive the supplier qualification process for existing and potential Victaulic suppliers, ensuring alignment with corporate procedures. You will also be responsible for qualifying new suppliers, products, and production processes in coordination with Sourcing and other relevant groups.\nPlan and perform supplier, product, and process audits while supporting first-piece approvals, product and process validations, and production inspections.\nSupport all facets of the supplier quality management system, including periodic production inspections, product/process validations and enhancements, and the development and adherence of control plans. Manage non-conforming material containment, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.\nAssist suppliers in understanding and implementing Victaulic product specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and process expectations.\nPlay a key role in supplier corrective actions related to internal or external failures. Lead team meetings for issues impacting product availability, ensuring effective communication of actions and status.\nMonitor supplier performance through quality metrics, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDrive supplier development initiatives in collaboration with the Supplier Development Engineering Team.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement based on risk and benefit, covering areas such as enhanced inspections, technology utilization, mistake-proofing, capacity improvement, and quality management.\nUndertake special projects as assigned by the Supplier Quality Manager.\nInitiate regular communication with internal customers to ensure clear identification and execution of quality objectives.\nAbout You\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related technical field.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or similar technical quality role.\nPractical experience with supplier qualification, supplier audits, corrective actions and quality documentation.\nLanguages: fluent Polish, (Upper) Intermediate English (B2/C1) - written and spoken.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.\nKnowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA.\nExperience with product/process validation and first article / first-piece approval processes.\nGood understanding of ISO 9001 or comparable quality management system requirements.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, ownership and project coordination skills.\nGood knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, MS Copilot.\nWillingness to travel extensively to suppliers across Europe and globally as needed (up to 60%).\nWhat working at Victaulic offers\nAttractive remuneration package\nPart of a growing international company.
