This role is responsible to continuously interface and coordinate with internal team members, clients, and other project stakeholders on a variety of tasks. This position is construction site-based, on a shift schedule. Projects could be anywhere across Canada.\nYour responsibilities include:\nProvide execution and coordination support which include but are not limited to:\nReporting - Monitor project progress and create project status reports for project managers and stakeholders. This includes data collection and verification as required. \nProject Delivery - Track project milestones ensuring deliverables are completed and meet project requirements, including assisting with resource scheduling.\nMeetings - Schedule meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle and follow up on actions.\nFormal Communications - Manage project-related inquiries or escalations and provide formal responses in a timely manner.\nSchedule management - Develop, maintain and monitor project schedule and tasks.\nCost management - Prepare reports and track costs including change request backup. \nRisk Management - Prepare, maintain and monitor risk register and gather updates. \nDocumentation - Maintain project documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.\nAdditional Support - as requested by the project manager such as tracking status of quality documentation, financial information, etc. \nAssist with parsing and meeting project requirements from internal and external teams.\nUse of approved systems in alignment with company expectations. \nPromote a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.\nRequirements\nYour background and credentials must include:\nDegree or certification in business administration, project management, or a related field\n2 to 4 years’ experience in a fast paced administrative or coordinator role\nUtility construction experience is a strong asset, including working in a construction office at site\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and are confident interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, written and electronic form\nExceptional eye for detail and organizational skills in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office. \nWorking knowledge of project management and/or scheduling software such as MS Project.\nProven ability to understand construction administration and contract commercial terms\nAnalytical skills and a logical, independent problem solver\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism\nBe able to work from a project site office and able to be away from home for extended periods of time\nBenefits\nExtended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)\nGroup RRSP\nGroup Life -
