This position requires sound judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to operate independently while managing a team responsible for high-volume, detail-sensitive work. The ideal candidate will proactively identify operational risks and process gaps, ensure appropriate staffing and workload allocation, and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal business partners and external vendors. This position operates in a team environment and requires regular collaboration with peer leaders, business partners, and senior management.\nYou will report to the Director of Operations.\nYou Will:\nCoach, mentor, and lead a team of operations representatives responsible for supporting mutual fund account processing, servicing, and related functions.\nLead the team to deliver on performance goals, including efficiency, accuracy, and quality standards.\nMonitor team output and interactions to ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently met.\nManage adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, escalating risks and concerns as appropriate.\nMaintain clear visibility into team workload, assignments, and productivity, adjusting resource allocation as business needs evolve.\nConduct regular team meetings and monthly 1-on-1 check-ins with direct reports to support performance, development, and engagement.\nIdentify, prioritize, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the team's workflows, partnering with Technology and Data & Analytics teams as needed to implement scalable solutions.\nIdentify, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures, proactively closing identified gaps.\nManage employee performance in a timely manner, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action when necessary.\nOwn escalations and issues within scope of responsibility through resolution, exercising appropriate urgency based on business and client impact.\nExercise sound judgment on process ownership and cross-functional impact, engaging appropriate stakeholders before implementing changes.\nPartner with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology) and external vendors to support business initiatives and operational readiness.\nIdentify, prioritize, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the team's workflows, partnering with Technology and Data & Analytics teams as needed to implement scalable solutions.\nSupport special projects and new product/process implementations as assigned.\nYou Have:\nMinimum 3-5 years of professional experience in an operations management or supervisory role, preferably within a financial services or asset management environment.\nProven ability to lead teams to achieve business goals while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.\nDemonstrated experience independently managing performance, coaching, and development of direct reports.\nStrong data analytics skills and the ability to interpret operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\nExperience developing, documenting, and enhancing operational processes and procedures, with a demonstrated track record of driving measurable process improvement and/or automation initiatives.\nChange management experience, including leading a team through a significant process, system, or organizational change.\nAbility to exercise independent judgment on routine operational matters, escalating only when appropriate.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.\nFoundational business knowledge of managing revenue and expenses.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and proactively with business partners and leadership.\nAbility to collaborate and execute across all levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated sense of urgency and ability to drive work to completion without requiring significant oversight.\nExperience in the financial services industry.\nFINRA Series 65 required or must obtain within 1 year of hire date.\nPreferred Skills:\n2 + years of progressive experience in operations leadership within financial services, asset management, or a related industry.\nWorking knowledge of mutual funds, custodial/transfer agency platforms, and related account servicing systems.\nExperience managing operational readiness for new product launches or significant process changes.\nProject management experience and ability to meet deadlines.\nAbility to facilitate problem-solving with the team and promote a shared sense of ownership of business outcomes and customer outcomes.\nOur Benefits:\nVictory Capital Management offers excellent Medical, Dental, Vision plans, Flexible PTO, Family Medical and Disability Leaves, Education Tuition Reimbursement and a 401k plan with a generous employer match.\nTarget Compensation:\nThe target base salary range for this position is $80,000 -
