As we continue to leverage technology across our operations, you will play a key role in improving data-driven planning, monitoring, and operational efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDrone Data Management\n\nManage and organize drone-generated datasets.\n\nMaintain structured repositories for drone imagery, maps, flight data, and processed outputs.\n\nEnsure accurate naming, storage, version control, and archiving of datasets.\n\nMaintain data quality and completeness.\n\nCoordinate with drone pilots to ensure required datasets are captured correctly.\n\nMaintain appropriate metadata for drone missions and datasets.\n\nDrone Imagery Processing\n\nProcess aerial imagery captured using the Drone Team’s equipment.\n\nGenerate orthomosaics, digital elevation models, point clouds, and other relevant spatial output where required.\n\nProcess multispectral imagery for vegetation and environmental analysis.\n\nConduct image quality checks before analysis.\n\nSupport processing and interpretation of drone datasets from different farm sites.\n\nGIS and Spatial Analysis\n\nDevelop and maintain GIS layers and spatial databases.\n\nConduct spatial analysis using drone and other geospatial datasets.\n\nProduce maps for farm planning, monitoring, environmental assessment, and operational decision making.\n\nSupport analysis of pond infrastructure, vegetation, flood risk, drainage, irrigation, and other operational requirements.\n\nIntegrate drone data with existing GIS and operational datasets.\n\nData Analysis and Visualization\n\nAnalyse drone datasets to identify trends, patterns, and operational insights.\n\nConduct vegetation and multispectral analysis where applicable.\n\nPrepare charts, maps, dashboards, and visual outputs for internal stakeholders.\n\nTranslate technical drone data into clear and practical information for non-technical users.\n\nSupport development of data-driven solutions for farm operations.\n\nData Product and Tool Development\n\nDesign data products and visualizations that improve access to drone information.\n\nSupport development of interactive maps and operational dashboards.\n\nAssist in developing prototypes that use drone and spatial data to solve operational problems.\n\nImprove workflows for collecting, processing, analysing, and sharing drone data.\n\nWork with relevant Technology and Innovation and Data and Analytics teams on data solutions.\n\nQuality Control and Documentation\n\nConduct quality assurance on processed drone datasets and analytical outputs.\n\nIdentify errors, gaps, or inconsistencies in datasets.\n\nMaintain documentation of processing and analysis workflows.\n\nDevelop standard procedures for drone data management and processing.\n\nMaintain records of completed analyses and deliverables.\n\nOperational Support\n\nWork closely with drone pilots to define data collection requirements.\n\nProvide feedback to pilots on imagery and data quality.\n\nParticipate in field activities where data collection or ground verification is required.\n\nSupport farm teams and other departments with relevant drone-derived information.\n\nAssist the Drone Team Manager in planning data requirements for new projects.\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\nDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in GIS / Geospatial Information Science, Surveying, Remote Sensing, Geography, Geomatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related technical discipline. With 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.\n\nKnowledge & Skills required:\n\nechnical Skills\n\nGIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.\n\nUnderstanding of coordinate systems and spatial data.\n\nExperience working with raster and vector datasets.\n\nBasic understanding of remote sensing and aerial imagery.\n\nExperience processing or analysing drone imagery is highly desirable.\n\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\n\nAbility to organize and manage large datasets.\n\nBasic data visualization and reporting skills.\n\n Desirable Technical Experience\n\nDrone photogrammetry.\n\nMultispectral imagery and vegetation indices such as NDVI.\n\nOrthomosaic and DEM generation.\n\n3D or terrain modelling.\n\nQGIS / ArcGIS spatial analysis.\n\nPostGIS or spatial databases.\n\nDashboard development or interactive web mapping.\n\nPython or other data-analysis tools.\n\nExperience with DJI drone data and processing workflows.\n\nKnowledge of aquaculture,
