You'll Do\nOwn the solution architecture for VidiNet Media Asset Management engagements, from first customer workshop through Go-Live\nLead discovery with customers to understand business goals, existing landscape, and constraints, and translate them into a target architecture\nDesign end-to-end media workflows (ingest, processing, metadata, storage, distribution) that are scalable, secure, and maintainable\nDefine integration architecture with third-party broadcast and media systems, including Active Directory, scheduling platforms, playout, and content delivery networks\nProduce architecture documentation: solution designs, integration specifications, deployment topologies, and non-functional requirements\nImplement complex solution components hands-on together with the project team, including workflow configuration, scripting, and REST API-based integrations\nTake part in system configuration, testing, and commissioning, working directly with customers through validation and Go-Live\nSupport pre-sales with technical scoping, effort estimation, and input to proposals, Statements of Work, and Change Requests\nIdentify technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies early, and define mitigations before they reach delivery\nAct as technical authority for the project team, guiding Professional Services Engineers and resolving design-level issues\nReview designs and implementations for alignment with the agreed architecture and VidiNet best practices\nDeliver customer workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and training\nWork closely with product and engineering teams to feed customer requirements into the roadmap and validate fit with platform capabilities\nContribute to reference architectures, reusable patterns, and continuous improvement of delivery methodologies\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Background\n7+ years of experience in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, or System Integration, including at least 3 years in a solution or technical architect role\nProven track record designing and delivering complex IT or media workflow solutions for enterprise customers\nExperience supporting pre-sales: scoping, estimation, and contributing to commercial proposals\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience\nTechnical Skills\nDeep understanding of broadcast and media workflows and media asset management concepts\nStrong knowledge of video/audio codecs, metadata models, formats, and processing pipelines\nExperience designing REST API-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and web services\nSolid understanding of data modelling and SQL / data-driven systems\nHands-on programming/scripting skills for day-to-day implementation work (JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, or similar)\nExperience with Linux environments, containers (Docker), and Kubernetes\nStrong cloud architecture skills (AWS preferred), including storage, networking, security, and cost considerations\nAbility to define and assess non-functional requirements: scalability, availability, performance, and security\nTools & Technologies (Nice to Have)\nCloud architecture certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect)\nOpenSearch / observability stacks\nGitHub and CI/CD pipelines\nInfrastructure as code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)\nFamiliarity
