The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications and reporting needs.\nResponsibility for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs\nOwnership of final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance\nAbility to critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements\nAccountability for accuracy, quality, and compliance\nWrite and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.\nEnsure database performance, integrity, and security.\nSupport database backup, restore, and recovery processes.\nMonitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.\nAssist in data migration, ETL processes, and integration between systems.\nCollaborate with software engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data flow and reliability.\nParticipate in database documentation and version control practices.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum5year of hands-on experiencewithMicrosoft SQL Server.\nStrong command overT-SQL, including query writing, joins, indexing, and optimization.\nBasic understanding ofdatabase normalization,data modeling, andER diagrams.\nKnowledge ofbackup and recovery,database security, andperformance tuning.\nFamiliarity withSSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)or similar tools.\nUnderstanding ofETL conceptsand exposure to data integration workflows is a plus.\nGood analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications (Good to Have):\nExposure tocloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).\nExperience withPower BIor other reporting tools.\nUnderstanding ofNoSQL databasesor data warehousing concepts.\nEssential Skills:\nThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, can translate objectives into impactful solutions, and is proficient in leveraging AI tools-including mandatory use of platforms like ChatGPT-to enhance efficiency.
