This role offers the opportunity to develop practical experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, platform operations, and secure technology delivery across client projects.\nResponsibilities - Junior Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure & Automation\nAssist with the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\n\nSupport cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, platform engineering, and digital transformation projects.\n\nHelp implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Pulumi, or equivalent technologies.\n\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.\n\nSupport the development and operation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.\n\nAssist with the configuration of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, identity, and access management.\n\nSupport containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and managed container platforms.\n\nMonitor cloud environments, applications, and infrastructure, responding to alerts and escalating incidents where appropriate.\n\nInvestigate technical issues, perform initial troubleshooting, and contribute to preventative improvements.\n\nApply cloud security, access control, governance, backup, and compliance requirements in line with established procedures.\n\nMaintain technical documentation, configuration records, deployment information, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams.\n\nCollaborate with cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, software engineers, security teams, project teams, and clients.\n\nEssential Skills - Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure & Automation\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nInitial professional, academic, or project experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, systems administration, software development, or IT operations.\n\nFoundational knowledge of at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\n\nUnderstanding of cloud computing concepts including virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, identity, access management, and security.\n\nExposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Pulumi.\n\nBasic scripting or programming experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or Go.\n\nUnderstanding of Git-based source control, pull requests, branching, and collaborative development practices.\n\nAwareness of CI/CD principles, automated testing, deployment processes, and continuous improvement.\n\nInterest in monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management, and cloud reliability practices.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.\n\nClear communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nDesirable Experience - Cloud Operations, DevOps & Platform Engineering\nExperience using AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon VPC, or AWS Identity and Access Management.\n\nExperience using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Network, or Microsoft Entra ID.\n\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud services, cloud management consoles, command-line tools, or cloud software development kits.\n\nExposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, serverless computing, APIs, microservices, or managed cloud platforms.\n\nKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk.\n\nAwareness of DevSecOps principles, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, encryption, and cloud security best practices.\n\nUnderstanding of Agile delivery methods, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, or site reliability engineering practices.\n\nExperience with cloud labs, personal projects, internships, university projects, or industry certifications.\n\nCloud certification or willingness to work towards a qualification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.\n\nBenefits & Growth -
