At Rakuten Viki, we offer a chance to be part of a global community that celebrates culture, creativity, and connection.\nAbout the Role:\nBased in Seoul, this Intern, Creative Operations Internrole will be supporting design production for global content releases.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the production of visual assets for Viki’s global content library, including thumbnails, promotional artwork, and title treatments.\n\nCreate and adapt artwork across multiple formats and aspect ratios based on design templates, platform specifications, and branding guidelines.\n\nProduce multilingual title treatments by resizing, refining, or recreating designs from master title artwork while maintaining visual consistency across regions and languages.\n\nEnsure all assets comply with metadata safe zones, technical specifications, and quality standards for web, mobile, tablet, and TV platforms.\n\nSupport image retouching, compositing, and typography adjustments for dramas, movies, variety shows, and other entertainment content.\n\nManage and organize design files, including file naming, version control, exports, and asset uploads according to internal workflows.\n\nCollaborate closely with Graphic Designers, Content Operations, Marketing, and external content partners to deliver assets on schedule.\n\nApply feedback accurately and efficiently during review cycles and maintain high attention to detail throughout production.\n\nTrack asset status and maintain documentation as required.\n\nSupport ad-hoc tasks assigned by Creative Operations or Content & Subtitle Operations teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.\n\nProficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for image editing, compositing, and layout design.\n\nStrong understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy for digital media.\n\nAbility to follow design guidelines, technical specifications, and replicate visual styles with accuracy and consistency.\n\nExperience with photo retouching and character compositing.\n\nHigh attention to detail, particularly when working with multilingual assets and localized content.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.\n\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.\n\nProficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.\n\nInterest in entertainment, streaming services, and digital content design trends.\n\nEnglish proficiency is a plus.\n\nThis is a 6 months internship position, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position upon completion.\n\nRakuten provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
