To this purpose, the Sourcing Specialist will work in close collaboration with multiple cross functional teams at Viking, meanwhile developing and strengthening business partnerships with Suppliers.\nSourcing and Supplier Management:\nLead projects and initiatives supporting efficiency, optimization and savings across multiple components and materials categories such as electrical, mechanical, gas-systems and aesthetical categories, related to the manufacturing of home appliances.\nManage assigned supply base, driving continuous cost and quality improvements, including negotiation of favorable pricing, terms and conditions, achieving best total cost of ownership (TCO), using discretion and independent judgment to make sourcing decisions.\nDesign and implement best practices to improve business performance, reduce waste, and strength supply chain reliability, including quality continuous improvement and quality cost recovery.\nLeverage data analytics and fact-base decision making to map and drive cost reduction opportunities in close partnership with manufacturing, finance, quality teams and suppliers.\nLead sourcing events (RFI’s, RFQs, RFPs) enabling total landed cost reduction opportunities and new product development.\nDrive effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal operational execution and timely product delivery.\nOperations and Finance Support:\nPartner with Product Development, Operations, Quality and Materials teams to ensure material availability and timely resolution of supply related issues.\nCollaborate closely with Finance and Treasury to comply with company policies and procedures.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, materials or supply chain roles.\nExperience in international trade is a plus.\nCross functional leadership.\nKnowledge of MS Excel, MRP/ERP systems and inventory management best practices.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.\nParticipative leadership and cross-functional collaboration.\nStrong assertive communication, ability to positively influence others and drive
