For more information, visitand follow us at\n\nThis Position\nWe have an immediate vacancy for a Legal Counsel with 1-3 years of in-house experience to join our international legal team. This is a remote role open to candidates based in the US. It's a broad, hands-on role for a lawyer who wants to grow their experience across commercial, technology, privacy, and employment matters. You'll work closely with teams across the business.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nWork closely with our internal stakeholders (in particular oursales team) to draft, review, negotiate, and advise on bespoke and standard contracts for a wide range of commercial transactions, including master services agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, andNDAs .\n\nManage state entity filings, annual reports, and registered agent matters for our US entities, and support other corporate governance work.\n\nWork with our data privacy team on privacy and data protection issues (including US state privacy laws and GDPR) and data processing agreements.\n\nProvide day-to-day legal support to teams across VikingCloud, including sales, engineering, operations, product, IT, marketing, HR, finance, and relationship management.\n\nHelp build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and processes that allow the legal and sales teamsclosedeals efficiently.\n\nLiaise with third parties as required, including customers, suppliers, insurers, and external advisers (legal and otherwise) in the US and internationally.\n\nWork collaboratively with the wider global legal team.\n\nQualifications\n\nJD from an accredited US law school and an active license in good standing to practice law in at least one US state.
