The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, validating REST APIs and microservices, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and tools such as Playwright, REST Assured, TestNG, and JUnit.\n\n- Develop and execute automated test cases for backend applications, REST APIs, microservices, and web services.\n\n- Perform API testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.\n\n- Validate API requests and responses, HTTP status codes, authentication, error handling, business logic, and data consistency.\n\n- Test interactions between distributed services to ensure correct communication, integration, and system behaviour.\n\n- Design reusable automation components and utilities to improve test coverage, maintainability, and execution efficiency.\n\n- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable software releases.\n\n- Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot defects by examining logs, test results, API responses, and application behaviour.\n\n- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA engineers to investigate issues and ensure timely defect resolution.\n\n- Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, code reviews, and technical discussions to identify quality risks early.\n\n- Maintain test documentation, automation reports, defect records, and test coverage metrics.\n\n- Continuously improve automation strategies, testing processes, and overall product quality.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- 7 -
