The scope is not.\nThe Short Version\nYou own the experience of every person at Viktor from signed offer onward: onboarding, relocations and everything after, for 5-10 joiners a month across Warsaw, Munich, New York and Dublin.\nYou're our first dedicated People hire, based in Warsaw and reporting to Paweł Siuciak, Head of Operations. Contracts and compliance sit with Operations (People); you own the person's journey.\nWhat You'll Actually Do\nRun onboarding end to end: the hand-off from recruiting, pre-start setup, welcome kits, the first week, buddies and 30/60/90 check-ins.\n\nRun relocations: coordinate visa steps with our providers, own the timeline, and help with housing and arrival.\n\nLook after milestones, role and office changes, recognition, offboarding, and rituals that work in every office.\n\nTravel to New York, Dublin and Munich for hub launches and joiner cohorts.\n\nHow You'll Know It's Working\nEvery joiner goes through one onboarding program, with a named buddy before day one.\n\nFeedback is captured after week one and day 30.\n\nA relocation playbook has been used on a real move.\n\nOnboarding runs at a hub without Paweł in the room, and joiner comms run automatically through Viktor.\n\nWho You Are\nYou've organised something real for other people, end to end (an event, a program, a cohort or a move), and you know how many people it involved and what you did yourself.\n\nYou notice what needs doing and do it, without being asked.\n\nAsked what you'd change about a first week, you pick one thing and defend it.\n\nStrong English, spoken and written.\n\nYou use AI tools to systematise your own work.\n\nProbably Not a Fit If\nPeople experience, to you, means policies, forms or a ping-pong table.\n\nYou wait for a plan, or your best work is a deck rather than something shipped.\n\nYou guard your territory. This role shares edges with recruiting, the office team and Operations (People).\n\nEven Better If\nYou've run onboarding, a buddy program or a community program at a startup.\n\nYou've relocated internationally, or helped others do it.\n\nYou make welcome kits and content people want to keep.\n\nThe Hard Part\nJoiners arrive while the flow is still being built. There's no senior People person above you: Paweł sets direction, you build and run it. People outside Warsaw are easy to forget, and nobody controls immigration timelines.\nWhy This Role Is Different\nYou build the People function, then lead it as the team grows.\nHow we work\nSmall team, high trust, low process.
