Master Data & Data Governance Analyst plays a key role in improving the quality, consistency, governance, and accessibility of enterprise data across Vinarchy.\nThis role is responsible for supporting Master Data Management (MDM) processes, maintaining data quality standards, facilitating data governance activities, and partnering with business stakeholders to establish trusted, governed, and AI-ready data assets.\nThe role will work across key data domains including Customer, Product, Supplier, Finance, and Organisational Data to ensure master data is accurate, consistent, secure, and aligned with business requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaster Data Management:\nMaintain and administer master data across business.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of Golden Records.\nMonitor data quality and identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records.\nCoordinate master data creation, change, and retirement processes.\nSupport data harmonisation initiatives across all platforms.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to improve master data processes and controls.\nComplete accurate creation and maintenance of JDE master data in line with agreed processes and service level agreements (SLAs).\nCreate and maintain master data tasks related to products, components, bulk wine, customers, suppliers, and employees.\nRun integrity reports as per the Master Data Management (MDM) task list to ensure data accuracy.\nProcess & Data Governance:\nMaintain and update MDM data collection processes as required or directed by the Master Data Manager.\nProvide administrative support to ensure documentation and procedures remain current.\nSupport the implementation of Vinarchy's Data Governance Framework.\nAssist Data Owners and Data Stewards in executing governance responsibilities.\nMaintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.\nFacilitate governance forums and stewardship meetings.\nTrack compliance with data policies, standards, and controls.\nSupport governance maturity assessments and improvement initiatives.\nQuery Resolution & Stakeholder Support:\nField MDM queries within documented processes; escalate exceptions to the Master Data Lead.\nShare responsibility for managing the team inbox, prioritising and escalating requests as required.\nCollaborate with internal teams to resolve data-related issues promptly and effectively.\nPerform root cause analysis of recurring data issues.\nWork with technical and business teams to implement preventative controls.\nEstablish data quality monitoring processes.\nAnalyse data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities to automate data management and governance activities.\nSupport implementation of MDM platforms, governance tooling, and Fabric-based data services.\nContribute to enterprise data strategy, governance roadmap, and MDM maturity initiatives.\nDrive adoption of best practices in data management, governance, and quality management.\nWhat You'll Bring\n2+ years’ experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Business Analysis, or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or sales environment.\nStrong understanding of data governance frameworks and principles.\nExperience managing master data within ERP, CRM, or enterprise applications.\nExperience analysing and resolving data quality issues.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nAbility to document business processes, standards, and data definitions.\nExperience handling large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nBroad awareness of finance systems and their integration with business processes.\nAbility to follow documented processes and meet SLAs.\nIntermediate proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nDemonstrated flexibility, ownership, and problem-solving capability.\nTraining or certification in data management, data governance or ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) highly
