For Vintage 2027, we’re looking for energetic, detail-driven individuals to join our Vintage Weighbridge Teamat our Marlborough Winery. This is your chance to be right at the front line of harvest, supporting safe, efficient and accurate fruit intake during the busiest and most exciting time of the year.
Whether you’re new to the industry or returning for another season, this role offers hands-on experience, great teamwork, and the buzz of vintage at scale. No prior experience required, just reliability, accuracy and a positive attitude.
About The Role
As a Vintage Weighbridge Operator, you’ll play a key role in harvest preparation and intake. You’ll work closely with infield harvest teams and winery front-end operations to ensure trucks, trailers and fruit deliveries are processed smoothly and safely.
This fixed-term role for the vintage period during harvest working on a rotating day/night roster.
What You'll Be Doing
- Accurately weighing trucks and trailers in and out of the winery
- Entering data into Vintrace and maintaining up-to-date logs
- Checking paperwork and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly
- Collecting maturity samples and recording key information
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Communicating with infield harvest teams and winery front-end coordinators
- Assisting with additional harvest preparation or vineyard-related tasks as required
What You'll Bring
- High attention to detail - accuracy is everything
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)...A solid level of English, literacy and numeracy is required to ensure safe work practices on site.
- Ability to work well within a team and stay calm under pressure
- Confidence using computers (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistency
- A flexible, positive attitude and commitment to working the full vintage period
