Operating in the engineering, fabrication, construction, and heavy industry sectors.\nThe company supports engineering and project-based business operations in Thailand, with close business connections between Thailand and China.\nAbout the Opportunity\nWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the newly established Thailand joint venture. This is a hands-on position with responsibility beyond general accounting, covering accounting operations, Thai taxation, banking activities, cash management, and financial risk review.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with management and cross-functional stakeholders to establish and maintain strong financial operations for the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage day-to-day accounting activities for the Thailand joint venture, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Thai accounting requirements.\nHandle month-end closing, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and other accounting processes.\nManage Thai tax compliance, including PND.3, PND.50, PND.53, and PP.30, and coordinate with the Revenue Department or relevant parties when required.\nSupport banking activities, including bank guarantees, credit facilities, letters of credit, and cash management.\nMonitor cash flow and support effective working capital management.\nParticipate in the financial review of commercial, construction, procurement, and project contracts, identifying financial and commercial risks.\nWork closely with management, project teams, procurement, commercial teams, banks, auditors, and external advisors.\nSupport the establishment and improvement of accounting and financial processes for the newly established business.\nEnsure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), IFRS, and applicable Thai accounting and tax regulations.\nPrepare financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.\nOccasionally travel to Zhuhai, China to support business and financial requirements.\nPerform other finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.\nStrong knowledge of Thai taxation and Revenue Department requirements.\nGood understanding of Thai accounting standards (TFRS/TFAC) and IFRS.\nExperience in engineering, construction, EPC, manufacturing, heavy industry, project-based business, SME, or JV environments is highly preferred.\nExperience with local banking procedures, bank guarantees, credit facilities, or cash management will be an advantage.\nExperience reviewing commercial or project contracts from a financial or risk perspective is preferred.\nAble to work independently and manage accounting and complex financial matters with minimal supervision.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and financial risk awareness skills.\nGood English communication skills, both written and spoken.\nComfortable working in an international and multicultural environment, particularly with Thai and Chinese stakeholders.\nMandarin Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.\nBased in Bangkok or willing to work permanently in Bangkok.\nWilling to travel to China occasionally when
