They are seeking a highly qualified Senior Engineering Data Management professional to join their team\nCondition of hiring:\nType: Contract 2 years \nLocation: KL office \nMalaysian candidates only\nRole:\nLead data management for the Project, ensuring efficient data use throughout its lifecycle. You'll oversee the project database, document control, and engineering software (AVEVA) as the point of contact for data strategy and implementation.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDatabase Management:\nManaging all engineering data for the Project, including the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) and engineering databases like AVEVA. This includes ensuring data security, accuracy, performance, and quality. You'll set up and enforce data management policies, perform backups and maintenance, monitor database health, and collaborate with IT to align project and asset IT needs, including budgeting. Additionally, you'll ensure the project database structure aligns with company policy, IT requirements, and future operational needs for a seamless handover.\nProject Insights and Reporting:\nLeverage BI tools (like Power BI) to analyze project data, identify trends & risks, and create insightful reports/dashboards for data-driven decisions. Identify areas for improvement and communicate findings to stakeholders.\nDocument Control and Engineering Software Management:\nLead document control for Project (EDMS, AVEVA).
