We aim to develop engineering and construction services for large infrastructure projects in various parts in the United States and provide a highly skilled and competitive professional service in construction field.\n Project Overview\n The Walsh-VINCI Transit Community Partners (WVTCP) Joint Venture consisting of VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Walsh Construction has been selected to construct the $2.9BN Design Build Red Line Extension (RLE) project - the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).\n The RLE Mainline Design-Build (MDB) Project will extend the CTA's Red Line by 5.6 miles, extending from the existing terminal at 95th/Dan Ryan south to 130th Street and Doty Avenue.\n Learn more about the RLE project at the WVTCP-RLE website here!\n Responsibilities:\n As an Assistant Project Manager (Stations), you will oversee the safe and timely delivery of the new RLE stations. Your responsibilities will include planning, procurement, and construction oversight for the structural steel of the new elevated stations, as well as managing and coordinating the primary subcontractors responsible for station building works. You will work closely with teams involved in guideway, civil, track, and systems works to ensure effective interface management and project integration.\n Analyses scope of works on project drawings and project specifications and schedules works accordingly\nPrepares and manages procurement packages for self-delivered scope: technical coordination with suppliers, review of shop drawings, site delivery and installation management. This applies to the structural steel package for the platforms in particular\nPrepares construction documentation (work plans, specification submittals, means and methods drawings) for scope activities\nBriefs construction teams on scope, means and methods, schedule and safety analysis for scope activities\nCoordinates with other project teams to ensure interfaces are being managed to avoid project delays.
