EC&I Engineer

Join NUVIA UK, a fast-growing company in the Technical Services & Consulting department. As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering outputs within your assigned scope of work. You will work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team and ensure that engineering outputs are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. This position offers hybrid work arrangements and requires BPSS clearance at a basic level.

Missions

• Delivering electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering outputs within assigned scope of work.
• Developing and checking engineering deliverables in line with defined requirements, applicable standards, and engineering procedures.
• Contributing to multi-disciplinary engineering activities, reviews, and assurance to ensure engineering outputs are fit for purpose, safe, and compliant.

Profil recherché

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience delivering EC&I engineering outputs within an engineering or project environment.
• Experience developing engineering deliverables in accordance with defined requirements, specifications, and procedures.
• Experience applying relevant engineering standards, codes of practice, and design guidance.
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Experience identifying and recording engineering assumptions, constraints, and risks.
• Experience supporting engineering reviews, checking, and verification activities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in engineering delivery.
• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant EC&I engineering experience appropriate to the level of responsibility.
• Ability to meet role-specific security clearance and site access requirements.
• Experience delivering EC&I engineering in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
• Experience supporting engineering activities across different stages of the engineering lifecycle (e.g. concept, outline, detailed design).
• Experience interfacing with other engineering disciplines, designers, or project management.
• Familiarity with structured engineering governance and assurance processes.
• Experience contributing to Learning from Experience or continuous improvement activities.
• Experience contributing to Learning from Experience or continuous improvement activities.
• Formal training in electrical safety, control systems, or instrumentation engineering.
• Discipline, or system-specific training relevant to assigned EC&I scope.
