decisions to secure environmental benefits.\nDevelop and maintain the Environmental Management Strategy for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with UKAEA standards and ISO14001.\nLead the development of the Environment Case for design and decommissioning activities in coordination with the Safety Case team.\nProfil recherché\nQualifications\nDegree or equivalent in a relevant subject, environmental and/or engineering qualifications preferred.\nCore Knowledge Areas\nExpert understanding of environmental and sustainability legislation, government standards, and regulatory frameworks.\nIn-depth knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Management System, including certification processes.\nFamiliarity with Best Available Techniques (BAT) and Environmental Impact Identification (ENVID) methodologies.\nKnowledge of radiation requirements under Environment Agency permits.\nUnderstanding of Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated compliance requirements.\nExperience\nExtensive experience in environmental engineering within large, complex programmes. \nProven track record in decommissioning, demolition, or facility decommissioning environments. \nExperience embedding environmental requirements into engineering design and execution. \nStrong background in project management principles and stakeholder coordination. \nAbility to validate environmental studies and manage performance of service providers.\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and coordination abilities, both verbal and written.\nConfident influencer capable of producing clear, persuasive reports.\nEffective interpersonal skills for building relationships across diverse teams and levels.\nAbility to coach,
