In this permanent role, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and safeguarding all project documentation throughout its lifecycle. You will ensure that accurate, up-to-date information is accessible to project teams, stakeholders, and external partners, while maintaining compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.\nMissions\nEstablish and maintain document control processes, procedures, and metadata standards, and manage the receipt, registration, tracking, and distribution of project documentation.\nMaintain and administer the project’s electronic document management system (EDMS) such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar, and support users with system access, training, troubleshooting.\nConduct document quality checks, ensure documentation meets project standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines, and prepare reports on document status.\nProfil recherché\nCoordination & Communication\nAct as a central point of contact for all document control activities.\nLiaise with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure documentation is delivered on time.\nFacilitate document-related queries, clarifications, and training sessions.\nSupport project start-up and close-out documentation, including handover packages and O&M manuals.\nProject Support\nAssist with information management strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitor document deliverables against project schedules and escalate delays as necessary.\nSupport change control by ensuring documentation reflects approved changes and updates.\nOccupational Skills and Knowledge\nProven experience in a Document Controller or Information Management role.\nStrong understanding of document control processes within construction, engineering, or major project environments.\nProficiency with EDMS platforms (e.g., Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, BIM 360, SharePoint).\nExcellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to manage high volumes of documentation and work to tight deadlines.\nStrong communication skills and confidence in working with multi-disciplinary teams. \nFamiliarity with quality assurance practices and information governance requirements.\nExperience working on large construction, rail, infrastructure, or engineering projects advantageous.\nAdvantageous\nExperience/familiarity with the fusion industry.\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.\nVocational qualifications in administration or project support beneficial.\nTraining or certification in document control or information management desirable.\nDegree qualified or relevant experience\nA degree level qualification in STEM / Construction
