management of Nuclear Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.\nProduction and development of Examination, Inspection, Maintenance & Testing (EIMT) Schedule, operating procedures and results.\nProviding advice and direction to internal and external stakeholders, and production of Independent Technical Assessment (ITA)/Independent Peer Review (IPR) Scopes of work.\nProfil recherché\nPosition Requirements:\nEssential:\nExperienced Piping Engineer with previous knowledge of industrial plant and machinery \nKnowledge of current design standards and working practices including British & European Standards. \nTheoretical and practical skill and experience across concept design, detailed design and construction stages across a range of electrical engineering projects (ideally including industrial and/or maritime).\nExperience in the design assessment of plant and equipment to withstand hazards\nExperience in pipe stress analysis \nExperience of authoring and producing robust technical justification and supporting documentation to allow for relevant design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industry.\nExperience working on multi-discipline projects providing engineering input (ideally within industrial and/or maritime)\nDesirable:\nIdeal candidates would already have experience within a similar high-risk environment\nFamiliarity with safety case development techniques e.g., HAZID/HAZOP studies.\nExperience of working in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defence), particularly in the design and assessment of safety-related structures, systems and components.\nKnowledge of UK and US nuclear industry regulation and practice, and application of relevant nuclear-specific codes and standards. \nQualifications:\nEssential:\nFor non-nuclear background candidates, a Nuclear introductory course would be required to be undertaken within 6 months of joining\nMinimum HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.\nIncorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience \nDesirable:\nEngineering degree \nChartered
