A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is desirable.\nMissions\nPreplan and schedule project activities on a daily to weekly basis, and implement the project Quality Management System.\nRecord meeting minutes for various project meetings, complete routine checklists during site walkthroughs, and ensure all Checklists for all aspects of the project are being used and followed.\nAssist the construction manager in day-to-day activities, assist superintendents with field operations and job scheduling, and be a site contact for the project.\nProfil recherché\nEssential Qualifications\nBroad understanding of road construction and related activities\nBroad understanding of the QMP and the testing requirements for roadway\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills (eg. memos, reports, discussions)\nProficiency in Microsoft Suite\nOFA Level 1 or Higher\nFall Protection and Rescue\nQA, QC training, proper tracking of Quantities\nDesirable Qualifications\nKnowledgeable of Specifications and requirements in roadway construction (DBSS, MMCD, etc.)\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a Related Field\nPMP designation\nGold Seal Certification\nADDITIONAL COMMENTS ON THE ROLE\nThe Project Coordinator’s job is to ensure that the correct measures are taken to follow the Quality Management Plan for this project. Initiate QA and QC procedures (this includes collecting the source acceptance, checklists are being submitted, and updating any revisions needed for drawings or the QMP itself).\nThey also aid the project manager in tracking costs and meeting the project budget.\nThe task list is reviewed with the project manager periodically (eg. weekly, semi-weekly) to ensure work is on track and schedule and the project manager has a good understanding of the work completed.\nLocation: Fraser Valley area\nJob Type: Full-time\nCompetitive salary and benefits package offered.
