VIE - Data Scientist F/M

Join Sixense Satellite, a leading player in satellite-based ground monitoring. As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to the development of our Atlas InSAR processing chain, working at the intersection of remote sensing, geophysics, and applied machine learning. You will design, develop, and optimize InSAR tools, implement new functionalities, and collaborate with geophysicists, radar engineers, and software developers.

Missions

• Contribuer à la conception, au développement et à l'optimisation des outils et de la chaîne de traitement InSAR.
• Mettre en œuvre de nouvelles fonctionnalités et caractéristiques pour étendre les capacités de traitement et les offres de produits.
• Collaborer étroitement avec des géophysiciens, des ingénieurs radar et des développeurs de logiciels pour traduire la recherche en outils prêts pour la production.

Profil recherché

What We're Looking For :

• Degree (MSc/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in machine learning, with hands-on expertise in convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Strong Python programming skills; experience with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, SciPy, xarray, etc.)
• Experience working with geospatial or remote sensing data (SAR/InSAR experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with signal/image processing techniques
• Comfortable working with large datasets and building production-grade data pipelines
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently on open-ended problems
• Excellent written and oral reporting skills in English are mandatory.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have :

• French or Spanish would be a valued skill.
• Prior experience with InSAR, SAR imagery, or satellite remote sensing
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and distributed processing
• Familiarity with geodesy or ground deformation monitoring
