The role ensures the coordination of studies, technical interfaces, engineering resources, and technical compliance while supporting project objectives in terms of quality, schedule, cost, and safety.\nThis position will be based abroad in a demanding environment, with regular travel on the project site.\nReporting to the Project Manager :\nLead and coordinate all engineering, design, and technical activities throughout the project lifecycle.\nManage multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, subcontractors, and technical stakeholders.\nAct as the main interface with the Client, Designer, engineering partners, and project departments on all technical matters. \nDevelop and implement engineering strategies, technical organization, schedules, and budgets required for project delivery.\nEnsure compliance with contractual requirements, technical standards, company procedures, and safety-in-design principles.\nMonitor engineering deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and timely completion.\nCoordinate technical interfaces and manage engineering risks and opportunities.\nIdentify technical optimizations and value engineering opportunities to enhance project performance.\nWork closely with Construction, Project Controls, Quality, and Contract Management teams to ensure alignment between design and execution activities.\nMonitor the engineering budget and assess the impact of technical modifications on project cost and schedule.\nProvide regular reporting on engineering performance, key technical issues, and project progress.\nSupport commissioning, project handover activities, and lessons learned processes.\nDegree in Civil Engineering, Public Works, or a related engineering discipline.\nSignificant experience managing engineering activities on large infrastructure, transportation, civil engineering, or construction projects.\nStrong knowledge of design management, engineering coordination, construction methods, and technical standards.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary teams in an international and multicultural environment.\nProficiency with engineering and design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM environments, or similar software.\nStrong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nProactive, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset.\nAbility to take ownership of technical performance.\nExperience working in remote project environments and camp-based operations\n\nAbility to work in challenging environments with 9 weeks ON / 3 weeks OFF rotation schedules.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to contribute to a world-class infrastructure project in a truly international environment.
