You will plan, execute, and close projects by coordinating teams, resources, and stakeholders to achieve specific goals on time and within budget.\nThe jobholder will contribute to the continuous development of the role to reflect changing business needs through flexibility, adaptability, and determination to achieve the demanding performance objectives required to ensure all KPIs are attained.\nResponsibilities & Duties\nSupporting the Project Manager and the wider team on the following responsibilities & duties:\nFull management and delivery responsibility for assigned projects.\n\nDevelop appropriate strategies and budgets; lead, develop and support project team to deliver projects in line with these and to a high standard.\n\nManage all operational aspects of the project including full profit and loss, health and safety and quality assurance.\n\nProfessionally represent Omexom, both individually and as part of a team, in a wide range of situations with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nAct as a mentor to assigned personnel and project staff.\n\nPresent and report to internal and external stakeholders regarding operational performance and recommended improvements for project delivery.\n\nLead and deliver projects in line with the Omexom governance framework.\n\nAssist with bid management, tender reviews and bid validation.\n\nMaintain effective communication and relationships both internally to ensure optimum project delivery, and externally with customers to develop a relationship of trust on which future business can be secured.\n\nOperate clear management, claims, non-conformance cost and lessons learned processes on all projects within remit.\n\nCreate and maintain a high level of personal and team performance in matters relating to Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and financial targets and constraints.\n\nKey interfaces\nRelationships with key stakeholders:\nManaging Director\n\nBusiness Unit General Managers\n\nClient Representatives\n\nProject Managers\n\nFunctional Managers\n\nProject Teams\n\nSubcontractors\n\nThird Party Workforces that may be affected by the works\n\nExternal Consultants\n\nLocal Authorities\n\nPerson Specification\nQualifications and experience\nAcademic Degree: A Bachelor’s (BEng / BSc) or Master’s (MEng) degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering\n\nSafety & Site Certifications: In the UK, a valid CSCS card or an equivalent health and safety passport\n\nIntroductory Project Management (Desirable)\n\nTechnical / Regulations Knowledge such as BS 7671 / 18th Edition\n\nDriving Licence: A full clean driving licence.\n\nInternships or Placements: Industry placement years or summer internships with a main contractor\n\nExposure to Project Environments: Experience acting as a Project Coordinator, Scheduler, or Administrator\n\nSoftware Competency: Familiarity with data tracking tools like Microsoft Excel, scheduling software like MS Project, and drawing viewers/design suites like AutoCAD\n\nAbility to function within a combined client and supplier partner team.\n\nCommercial Interest\n\nStakeholder Communication\n\nProactive Problem Solving\n\nValues\nIn line with Omexom’s values, the jobholder must the following qualities:\nTeam Spirit & Generosity -able to work effectively within and contribute to the Omexom team to deliver results, provide support and drive performance.\nTrust and Empowerment -enjoy managing their responsibilities and time to ensure work is completed efficiently and professionally.\nIntegrity and Responsibility -
