We aim to develop engineering and construction services for large infrastructure projects in various parts in the United States and provide a highly skilled and competitive professional service in construction field.\n Project Overview:\n The Walsh-VINCI Transit Community Partners (WVTCP) Joint Venture consisting of VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Walsh Construction has been selected to construct the $2.9BN Design Build Red Line Extension (RLE) project - the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). The RLE Mainline Design-Build (MDB) Project will extend the CTA's Red Line by 5.6 miles, extending from the existing terminal at 95th/Dan Ryan south to 130th Street and Doty Avenue.\n Responsibilities:\n As the Pay Application Engineer on the $2.9BN Red Line Extension Project (RLE) in Chicago-Illinois, you will be responsible for managing and processing monthly pay applications. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely submission of pay applications through the Schedule of Values, coordinating with project stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with contract requirements.\n Pay Application Management:\n Prepare and submit monthly pay applications in accordance with the Schedule of Values.\nEnsure all pay applications are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.\nReview and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.\nAssist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets based on pay application data.\n Coordination and Communication:\n Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary documentation for pay applications.\nCommunicate with the client and project stakeholders to address any questions or concerns related to pay applications.\nFacilitate meetings to review and discuss pay application status and issues.\n Documentation and Reporting:\n Maintain accurate records of all pay applications, invoices, and related documentation.\nPrepare and submit regular reports on pay application status and progress.\nEnsure all documentation is properly archived and accessible.\n Compliance and Quality Control:\n Ensure all pay applications comply with contract requirements and project standards.\nPerform quality control checks on pay applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nAddress any discrepancies or issues in pay applications and implement corrective actions.\n Perform other duties as assigned.\n Qualifications and Skills:\n Required:\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.\nAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing pay applications.\nAbility to identify and resolve issues in pay applications effectively.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).\nFluent in English with professional proficiency\n Preferred:\n Experience in pay application management or a similar role within the construction industry.\n Salary Range:\n $95,000.00 to $100,000.00\n Work Environment:\n Required to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders.\nInvolves a dynamic and challenging work environment.\nOffice-based role with regular visits to active construction sites.\nExposure to noise, weather, and typical construction conditions.\nFast-paced environment that may require long hours.\nRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and reflective vests when on-site\n Physical Demands:\n Must be able to lift 25lbs\nWalking and standing while in-office or on-site\nOccasional climbing on and off equipment and bending\n VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA offers all full-time employees competitive wages and benefits, including:\n Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance\nHealth Reimbursement Account (HRA)\nVacation Leave\nSick Leave\nPaid Holidays\nCompany 401(k) Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCommuter Benefits Program\nParental Leave\nTerm Life & AD&D Insurance\nShort & Long-Term Disability Insurance\nEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)\nProfessional Development & Training\nHealth and Wellness Spending Account\n VCGP USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Disability/ Veteran.
