Prior clearance will not be transferable.\nRole Description:\nThe candidate will be responsible to lead the CE&I electrical systems design for SIXEP Cooling Towers and Other Local Projects.\nThe role will involve the production and checking of engineering deliverables to support design development through concept and preliminary phases, and into detail design, and assistance during installation and commissioning borne design queries.\nThe candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to all aspects of CE&I engineering.\nThe role requires knowledge and experience in project delivery with experience of optioneering, front-end design and detail design.\nLead and take responsibility for the delivery of the design aspects of the project.\nWorking with a small integrated design team in the delivery of design packages against milestones.\nContribute to the production of multi discipline design documentation such as, but not limited to: Project Requirement Documents, Basis of Design, Project Verification Plans, Quality Plans, Design Justification Report.\nDetermine project requirements independently.\nReview / checking of design document and CE&I deliverables from a senior CE&I designer.\nAbility to estimate hours for scope changes or additional works along with outlining supporting schedule for the discipline.\nSupport and contribute to the delivery of Design Reviews.\nProduce Reports and documentation to comply with CDM.\nThis role requires interface with Integrated Design Team, facility team (including systems engineering), other project functions and must work closely throughout project phases.\nEssential Experience & Qualifications:\nManagement of design delivery teams.\nMachinery Safety and UKCA Marking.\nProcess Instrumentation Design.\nElectrical Power and Services Design at LV.\nUnderstanding and application of the required deliverables and design process for each of the CE&I areas.\nDelivery within the SL Management System.\nEstimate & schedule production and progress reporting\nThe ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.\nEmployee Staff Benefits:\n8.5% Pension Contribution & Life Assurance\nPrivate Medical Scheme*\nEmployee Share Scheme\nSalary Sacrifice Schemes: Electrical Vehicles, Technology and Cycle to Work\n18 Weeks Full Maternity Pay* (+21w SMP)\n25 days holiday (increasing to 28 days after 5 years’ service, 31 days after 10 years’ service)\nOption to buy, sell and carry over up to 5 days annual leave per year\nIn partnership with trade unions\nPersonal Development & Further Education Support\nLong Service & Recognition Awards\nFree Employee Assistance Programme*After 1 year of service.\n\nNUVIA UK -
