Execution\nManage multiple geotechnical and ground improvement projects simultaneously.\nLead project planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution activities.\nReview contract documents, technical specifications and tender requirements.\nDevelop project execution strategies and resource plans.\nMonitor project performance, including schedule, quality, cost and risk.\nIdentify and implement corrective actions where necessary.\nEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.\nFinancial & Contract Management\nPrepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cash flow.\nReview project profitability and margins throughout execution.\nManage progress billings and payment collections.\nEvaluate change orders, claims and contractual risks.\nNegotiate commercial matters with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.\nSupport estimating and bid review processes.\nClient Relations & Business Development\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants and contractors.\nSupport regional business development initiatives.\nParticipate in client meetings, presentations and industry networking activities.\nIdentify opportunities for future work and strategic growth.\nField Operations Leadership\nCoordinate project teams, superintendents, engineers and subcontractors.\nSupport field operations and provide technical guidance.\nConduct site visits and project reviews.\nEnsure resources, equipment and materials are available when required.\nPromote collaboration across project stakeholders.\nHealth, Safety & Environmental Leadership\nChampion Menard Canada's safety culture.\nEnsure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company policies.\nParticipate in risk assessments and project-specific safety planning.\nSupport incident investigations and corrective actions.\nPromote continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.\nTechnical Excellence & Innovation\nProvide expertise in geotechnical construction and ground improvement technologies.\nReview technical proposals and construction methodologies.\nSupport value engineering initiatives.\nContribute to lessons learned and operational best practices.\nCollaborate with engineering and design teams on complex projects.\nLeadership & Team Development\nMentor Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Engineers-in-Training.\nSupport employee development and succession planning initiatives.\nFoster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.\nContribute to recruiting and onboarding efforts for the Western Canada region.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering or a related discipline.\nProfessional Designation\nRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia or eligible for registration with EGBC.\nExperience\nMinimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.\nMinimum 5 years managing geotechnical, foundation, ground improvement or heavy civil projects.\nProven track record managing projects exceeding
