The CCC will receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products and complaints. Input orders and relative data into the computer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service focus with a high level of accuracy entering orders.\nEDUCATION:\nRequired: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nPreferred: Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nEXPERIENCE:\nRequired: One to two years of previous customer service and data entry experience.\nPreferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel highly preferred.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification\nRequired: Must possess strong customer service focus, social and interpersonal skills, and active listening skills. Ability to address concerns and communicate clearly and efficiently. Ability to excel in a fast paced environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Attention to detail and and the ability to follow through are required skills.\nPreferred: Beneficial to have strong critical thinking, persuasion, and comprehension skills. Ability to convey a positive, customer- friendly disposition.\n CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)\nReceive and process incoming orders from both sales team members and directly from the customer. \nInsert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.\nCompile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.\nDemonstrate high-level communication skills by expressing thoughts and information clearly and succinctly using proper business English and correct grammar.\nObtain customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms. \nInform customers of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. \nMake changes to or cancel orders/backorders. \nReceive and respond to customer complaints. \nVerify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. \nDirect specified departments or units to prepare and ship orders to designated locations. \nAttempt to sell additional merchandise or services to prospective or current customers by telephone or through visits. \nWork closely with accounts payable to see that customer accounts are kept current. \nCross-train with team members to develop the capability to act as a backup for other team members. \nCompletes special projects upon requests, and other duties may be assigned.\nLocation: 3401 Cummings Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419\nPay: $16.00 -
