He or she will work closely with ITG’s current draftsman on site to develop and review basic mechanical designs. This position will provide equipment drawings of schematics for the purpose of manufacturing. The drafting intern will work with Engineering Department to implement the design and communicate any design issued. This position will also maintain current inventory of drawings and specifications for individual components and assembly drawings.\nEDUCATION:\nRequired: Must currently be pursuing a degree (bachelor’s or associate’s) in drafting, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.\nPreferred: Entering second year (Associate’s) or Junior/Senior year of degree program.\nEXPERIENCE:\nPreferred: 1-2 years of previous experience working in a formal engineering department completing drafting related assignments.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification\nRequired: Proficient computer skills including Solid Works, AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook. Understanding of automation equipment.
