Please add any additional information to your application such as a link to your blog, social media, website, portfolio, or any other relevant projects to show your passion!\nOverview\nWe’re on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and about working toward a career in the retail industry.\nInterns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks throughout the office. In addition to the above responsibilities, all Interns will be assigned a group project to work on throughout the summer and are expected to present their findings to management at the conclusion of the Internship. Interns will be assigned a group of business leaders for direction and guidance through the project. Vineyard vines also provides professional development and social opportunities throughout the summer.\nPlease note: At this time, all interns will be expected to be on-site for the full summer in Stamford, CT. Candidates who are eligible will be able to apply to a housing scholarship program (more information to come)\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist the Production and Product Development teams in completing daily tasks while learning about the product life cycle\nIssue P.O’s\nReconfirming information in Centric is accurate to issue P.O’S\nAssist with the maintenance and organization of all submits including development, bulk, and TOP's\nSit in on weekly meetings such as Cross Functional Team meetings, fittings, color reviews, and design pass offs\nHelp with package calls\nPass design comments to vendors\nLearn about Centric and how it is used cross functionally in development and production\nDemonstrate the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization\nHave strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills\nUnderstand and adhere to all policies related to the organization\nComplete ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed\nWhat you bring:\nWorking towards a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or other related field\nAn interest in working in the fashion industry after graduation\nA passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle\nGreat communication skills (both verbal and written)\nFlexibility and open-mindedness\nExperience with Excel and GMail\nOutstanding attention to detail and accuracy required\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential company materials\nStrong interpersonal communication\nAbility to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to effectively receive
