Responsibilities Design and develop state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning models for perception tasks (e.g., object detection, segmentation, tracking). Architect and implement multi-sensor fusion systems (Lidar, camera, radar, uss) to improve perception robustness and accuracy. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI systems: data pipeline, model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment. Optimize models for real-time performance and deployment on production or embedded systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, robotics) to deliver integrated solutions. Define technical direction, best practices, and system architecture for perception modules. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture. Conduct rigorous benchmarking, experimentation, and performance analysis to continuously improve systems.
Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or AI engineering roles. Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV). Proven experience building and deploying AI models in real-world or production systems. Strong understanding of 3D geometry, sensor fusion, and perception systems. Proficiency in Python and C++, with experience writing efficient, production-quality code. Preferred: Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or ADAS. Experience with real-time systems, edge/embedded AI deployment, or optimization (TensorRT, ONNX, etc.). Familiarity with large-scale data pipelines, annotation workflows, and MLOps practices. Track record of leading projects or mentoring engineers. Publications or contributions to open-source projects in relevant areas.
