standards.\nYou'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle-from requirement analysis and test planning to release validation and production quality monitoring.\nWhat You'll Do\nFunctional & Manual Testing\nUnderstand product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.\nDesign comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.\nPerform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nTest complex workflows across web applications and enterprise platforms.\nIdentify edge cases and potential failure scenarios before production releases.\nValidate application behavior across supported browsers, devices, and environments.\nPerform end-to-end testing of critical business workflows.\nParticipate in release validation and production readiness activities.\nTest Automation\nDevelop and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs.\nBuild reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.\nAutomate regression and repetitive testing workflows.\nWork with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.\nIntegrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.\nAnalyze automation failures and continuously improve test coverage.\nCollaborate with developers to improve application testability.\nMaintain reliable automated test suites across development, staging, and production-like environments.\nAPI & Backend Testing\nTest REST APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.\nValidate request/response structures, status codes, authentication, authorization, and error handling.\nPerform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools.\nValidate data consistency between APIs, databases, and application interfaces.\nTest integrations between internal and external services.\nValidate asynchronous workflows, background processes, and event-driven systems where required.\nPerformance & Reliability Testing\nPerform basic performance, load, and stress testing for critical applications and APIs.\nIdentify application bottlenecks and reliability issues.\nValidate application behavior under different load conditions.\nWork with Engineering and Platform teams to investigate performance issues.\nSupport scalability and production readiness testing.\nContribute to improving overall application stability and reliability.\nDefect Management & Quality Engineering\nIdentify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout their lifecycle.\nCreate clear bug reports with reproducible steps, logs, screenshots, and supporting evidence.\nPerform root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams.\nVerify fixes and conduct regression testing to prevent recurring issues.\nTrack quality metrics, defect trends, and test coverage.\nParticipate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and release discussions.\nAdvocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.\nAI Application Testing (Preferred)\nTest AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, and LLM-based features.\nValidate RAG systems, AI agents, prompts, model responses, and AI workflows.\nDesign test scenarios for non-deterministic AI outputs.\nEvaluate AI responses for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and reliability.\nIdentify hallucinations, incorrect responses, edge cases, and failure scenarios.\nSupport automated evaluation and regression testing of AI-powered features.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Skills\n2-6 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering.\nStrong experience in manual and functional testing of web applications.\nExperience designing test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.\nHands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.\nExperience with at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.\nGood programming or scripting knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC.\nExperience with regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and authentication mechanisms.\nExperience using defect and project management tools such as Jira.\nBasic knowledge of SQL and database validation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience testing AI/ML or Generative AI applications.\nExperience with Playwright or Cypress-based automation frameworks.\nNice to Have\nKnowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.\nExperience testing microservices and distributed applications.\nFamiliarity with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of Git and version-control workflows.\nExperience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nUnderstanding of security and vulnerability testing
