As viravira.co continues to grow globally, this position will play an important role in making our platform feel natural, trustworthy, and high-quality for international users.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nReview, edit, and improve machine-translated and AI-translated content across the viravira.co platform.\nImprove the quality, clarity, grammar, consistency, and naturalness of Turkish and English platform translations.\nReview and improve translations for website pages, listing content, destination pages, product flows, emails, notifications, support texts, FAQs, and other user-facing content.\nUse translation tools, AI tools, glossaries, and style guides to improve translation quality and efficiency.\nIdentify translation errors, unnatural wording, terminology inconsistencies, missing context, and localization issues.\nCreate and maintain language quality guidelines, glossaries, terminology lists, and tone-of-voice rules.\nWork with product, marketing, SEO, and customer experience teams to ensure all translated content is accurate, clear, and user-friendly.\nHelp improve translation workflows by giving feedback on AI translation outputs and machine translation quality.\nCoordinate with freelance translators, agencies, native speakers, or internal team members when needed.\nPerform quality checks for major platform languages and report recurring issues.\nEnsure language quality supports SEO, conversion, trust, and customer experience goals.\nHelp make multilingual content sound natural, local, and consistent with viravira.co’s brand voice.\nGereksinimler\nBachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, English Language and Literature, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Foreign Language Education, Communications, or a related language department.\nMaster’s degree in a related field is a plus.\nExcellent command of the English language - preferably native speaker level.\nProfessional proficiency in Turkish.\nProfessional proficiency in additional major languages such as German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Croatian, or Greek is a big plus.\nAny other language is a plus.\n1+ years of experience in translation, localization, proofreading, editing, language quality assurance, content editing, or a similar role.\nExperience reviewing machine translation or AI-generated translations is a plus.\nExperience in travel, tourism, marketplace, e-commerce, SaaS, or digital platform localization is a plus.\nExcellent editing, proofreading, and language quality assessment skills.\nStrong understanding of grammar, style, tone, localization, terminology, and cultural context.\nAbility to identify literal translations, awkward phrasing, inconsistent terminology, and unclear user-facing copy.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.\nAbility to use AI tools effectively for translation review, rewriting, comparison, and quality improvement.\nUnderstanding of SEO content localization is a plus.\nFamiliarity with UX writing, product copy, and customer communication is a plus.\nExperience with translation, localization, or CAT tools is a plus.\nExperience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar tools for translation review and editing.\nProficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Docs, Sheets, Word, and Excel.\nFamiliarity with content management systems, translation management systems, or localization platforms is a plus.\nFamiliarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools is a plus.\nExceptional attention to detail.\nStrong written communication skills.\nHighly organized and able to manage multiple languages, tasks, and deadlines.\nIntellectually curious, language-sensitive, and eager to improve systems and processes.\nComfortable working with AI tools and new technologies.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.\nStrong ownership mentality and commitment to high-quality output.\nOpen to feedback and able to give clear, constructive language feedback to others.\nCandidates from language departments are strongly preferred.\nTranslation, proofreading, localization, or writing samples are a plus.\nAvantajları\nSalary\nBasic sailing training\nHybrid working model\nMeal card\nNo-dress code\nAn exciting environment to support growth and personal development\nWe also offer many hard and soft skills training to help you improve and challenge yourself.
