We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance & Engineering Team.\nRole Type: Full Time\nHours: 40\nThe Mobile Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining high engineering and maintenance standards across clubs within their region, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient environments for members and colleagues. Working closely with Regional and National Maintenance Managers, this role provides technical support, drives maintenance performance and ensures the smooth running of club operations to deliver an exceptional member experience.\nThe Role\nMaintain engineering and maintenance standards across clubs within your region.\nSupport Health & Safety, statutory compliance, insurance inspections, Fire Safety and Legionella control (L8).\nDrive planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance performance, ensuring SLAs are met.\nProvide technical support and remote fault-finding, including swimming pool and plant maintenance.\nSupport the training and development of maintenance teams, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.\nSupport maintenance projects, budget control and utilities efficiency, helping reduce operational costs and club closures.\nWork collaboratively with club teams and regional stakeholders to improve maintenance standards and operational performance.\nExperience\nA technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher.\nIndustry-recognised pool plant qualification.\nExtensive engineering and maintenance experience, including pool maintenance.\nStrong fault-finding skills and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance.\nExperience supporting technical projects, managing budgets and delivering operational improvements.\nExcellent planning, time management and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to safety, continuous improvement and exceptional service.\nWhat You’ll Get\nThe opportunity to be part of a brand redefining the future of wellness\nA premium environment with industry-leading facilities\nDevelopment and progression opportunities aligned to your level\nAccess to a vibrant, engaged member community\nThe platform to build your career, reputation and impact\nThe Perks\n25 days (excluding bank holidays) annual leave, plus a Celebration Day - and we want you take them\nAccess to Scottish Widows Pension with us matching contributions up 5%\nComplimentary Virgin Active membership for you and a buddy.
