We are looking for People Advisor to join our People Team until the 2nd April 2027. \nRole Type: FTC\nNumber of Hours: 40\nIn this role, you will play a part in delivering an exceptional team member experience by providing professional HR advice and support across the business. Working closely with managers, you'll provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment legislation and People policies, helping to create a positive, compliant and high performing workplace while supporting the continued development of our people and culture.\nThe Role\nProvide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and probation processes.\nSupport managers in applying People policies, employment legislation and best practice consistently across the business.\nManage Occupational Health referrals and support wider wellbeing initiatives where required.\nAnalyse People data and trends, identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience and support business performance.\nDeliver People training and coach managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams.\nContribute to continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing People processes, policies and ways of working.\nSupport organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE and redundancy processes where required.\nChampion Virgin Active's values, helping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.\nWho We’re Looking For\nPrevious HR Advisory or HR Generalist experience within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.\nStrong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations case management.\nExperience managing complex HR cases, including absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence and coach managers.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and a passion for delivering an exceptional people experience.\nOur Perks\n25 days (excluding bank holidays) annual leave, plus a Celebration Day and we want you take them\nAccess to People's pension, with us matching contributions up to 3%.\nComplimentary Virgin Active membership for you and a buddy.
