We are looking for ProcurementSpecialist to join our Finance Team.\nRole Type: Full Time\nHours: 40\nThis role will provide day-to-day support to our club colleagues and internal teams, helping to ensure procurement processes run smoothly, efficiently and in line with company policies and controls. The successful candidate will act as an important link between the Procurement team, our clubs, accounts and wider business stakeholders. They will provide hands-on administrative and operational support across procurement activities, supplier management, invoice queries and our ZIP I2P (Procure-to-Pay) system.\nExperience working within a Technology procurement/spend category would be beneficial.\nThe Role\nAct as a key point of contact for clubs on procurement queries, providing timely, solutions-focused support through to resolution.\nSupport Procurement and Accounts with supplier onboarding, due diligence, invoice queries, purchase orders, and accurate supplier documentation.\nProvide day-to-day administration and support for the ZIP I2P system, including user queries, troubleshooting, system data, and reporting.\nAssist with sourcing activities, supplier communications, quotation exercises, procurement projects, spend analysis, and procurement documentation.\nPartner with Clubs, Accounts, and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activity follows company policies, processes, and controls.\nIdentify opportunities to improve procurement processes, system efficiency, user experience, and overall team effectiveness.\nExperience\nEssential\nExperience in a procurement, purchasing, accounts, finance administration or similar operational role.\nStrong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nA customer-focused approach, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across the business.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nComfortable working with procurement, finance and/or business systems.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nDesirable\nExperience supporting a Technology spend category, including areas such as software, hardware, IT services or telecommunications.\nExperience working with a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or procurement system.\nExperience with ZIP or a similar procurement/I2P platform.\nExperience working with supplier onboarding, due diligence and invoice processes.\nPrevious experience working within a multi-site or decentralised organisation\nOur Perks\n25 days (excluding bank holidays) annual leave, plus a Celebration Day - and we want you take them\nAccess to Scottish Widows Pension with us matching contributions up 5%\nComplimentary Virgin Active membership for you and a buddy.
