We are looking for 2Swim Coordinators to join our Family Activities team.\nRole Type: Part Time\nNumber of hours: 20\nIn this role, you will play a part in leading the delivery of a safe, engaging and commercially successful swim programme, creating exceptional experiences for swimmers of all ages and abilities. You will inspire and develop a high-performing swim team, drive operational and financial performance, and ensure the highest standards of teaching, safeguarding and member experience across all swim activities.\nThe Role\nDeveloping, managing and implementing a comprehensive in club Swim programme, including ASA guidelines, innovations and holiday activities.\nEnsuring the Swim instructors comply with Health & Safety and department policies to provide a safe environment at all times, acting in accordance with the Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable adults policy and statutory requirements from Regulatory Bodies.\nEnsuring an excellent level of teaching is delivered to our members, that exciting and engaging activities & lessons are being delivered at all times by leading the Swim Team to achieve a high standard, creating an exceptional experience for our members.\nResponsible for developing creative and innovative classes following the ASA National Swim Plan for Teaching Swimming.\nLine management of the Swim team including recruitment, training and development, as well as rotas and payroll.\nDrive the department to meet all set targets and budgets, exceed commercial success by developing and training existing staff to Brand Standards.\nAccountable for successfully delivering financial & departmental KPIs, department Health Checks and audits.\nWho We’re Looking For\nAn ASA Level 2/STA Full Swim Instructor Qualificaiton\nExcellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond appropriately & professionally to everyone you interact with.\nPrevious experience of working in a commercial environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work politely and efficiently in all situations.\nProficiency in using a computer with the confidence to learn new systems & databases quickly.\nEither a Lifeguard Qualification or a confident swimming ability & willingness to take the course within the first month of starting.\nEnhanced DBS clearance before start date\nWhat You’ll Get\nThe opportunity to be part of a brand redefining the future of wellness\nA premium environment with industry-leading facilities\nDevelopment and progression opportunities aligned to your level\nAccess to a vibrant, engaged member community\nThe platform to build your career, reputation and impact\nThe Perks\n33 days (including bank holidays) annual leave, plus a Celebration Day and we want you take them\nAccess to The Peoples Pension, with our contributions at 3%.\nComplimentary Virgin Active membership for you and a buddy.
