Your work will help colleagues understand network revenue, route profitability, connectivity, competitor performance and the performance of our airline partnerships.\nYou will work with a wide range of teams, including Data & AI, Revenue Management, Sales, Virgin Atlantic Holidays, Cargo and external insight, process and data vendors. You will turn complex datasets into clear analysis, improve existing reporting and look for smarter ways to automate and simplify how we work.\nThis is a role for someone who wants to go beyond reporting. You will help improve how the team uses data, build better tools, automate manual processes and turn analysis into clear commercial stories that colleagues can act on.\nIt is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, technically capable and excited by the prospect of using data to influence real commercial decisions in a dynamic aviation environment.\nDay to day\nBuild and produce regular reporting on network revenue generation, route profitability, connectivity, market performance and airline partnership performance\n\nMaintain and improve the analytical tools used across Network & Alliances, ensuring outputs remain accurate, relevant and easy to use\n\nWork with stakeholders to understand the commercial questions behind the data and translate them into practical reporting, insight or tool improvements\n\nPartner with Data & AI to access the right data, resolve quality issues and ensure consistent use of agreed definitions and sources\n\nCreate clear and engaging visualisations that make complex information easier to understand and act upon\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data flows and simplify recurring activity\n\nSupport the introduction of new analytical technology, including Quality of Service Index (QSI) tools, automation and appropriate AI applications\n\nDocument tools and processes so they can be maintained, understood and used consistently by the wider team\n\nHelp colleagues build confidence in using reporting and analytical tools through guidance, training and ongoing support\n\nContribute analysis to network, alliance and commercial projects as priorities evolve\n\nAbout you\nYou will be naturally curious and enjoy getting beneath the surface of a problem. You will be comfortable working with numbers, butequally interested in understanding the commercial story behind them.\nYou may already have experience in an analytical, commercial, business intelligence, data product, pricing, revenue management, consulting, travel or aviation role. Direct airline experience is not essential. What matters most is your ability to think logically, learn quickly and communicate insight clearly.\nYou will need to bring:\nStrong analytical and numerical skills, with an ability to work confidently with complex datasets\n\nA logical and structured approach to solving problems\n\nExperience producing reporting, analysis or data visualisations that help others understand performance\n\nThe ability to explain findings clearly and succinctly to colleagues who may not have an analytical background\n\nExperience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools\n\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate, reliable outputs\n\nThe confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and suggest better ways of working\n\nThe ability to organise your workload and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment\n\nA collaborative approach and willingness to build relationships across different teams\n\nIt would also be useful if you have:\nExperience with SQL, Python, Databricks or similar data tools\n\nExperience with Power Automate, Power Apps or wider Microsoft Power Platform tools\n\nAn interest in using automation and AI tools responsibly to simplify work, develop practical tools and create efficiencies\n\nAn interest in commercial aviation, networks, airline partnerships or how data supports business decisions\n\nIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.\nAccessibility and inclusion\nWe're committed to making our recruitment process accessible.
