We’re looking for a motivated Software & Hardware Asset Coordinator to join the team that looks after the equipment and software our colleagues use every day.\nYou don’t need to arrive knowing everything about technology asset management. Training and support can be provided - what matters is your willingness to learn, attention to detail and enthusiasm to get involved.\nWorking alongside our Asset Manager and Asset Lead, you’ll help look after technology throughout its journey with us: from ordering and receiving equipment to allocating, tracking, recovering and responsibly recycling it\nDay to day\nThis is a varied, practical role where you’ll spend time working with equipment, keeping records accurate and helping colleagues and suppliers. You’ll:\nHelp order, receive, unpack and organise technology equipment, keeping our stockrooms tidy and well managed.\nCoordinate the allocation, return, reuse and replacement of devices, including laptops, iPads and phones.\nKeep our asset records up to date so we know what we have, where it is and who is using it.\nHelp colleagues with requests relating to lost, stolen, damaged or faulty equipment.\nSupport software licence tracking, helping ensure colleagues have access to the software they need.\nMonitor and action incidents and requests coming into the team’s queue, keeping colleagues updated and seeing each task through to resolution.\nWork with our suppliers and internal teams to keep requests moving and resolve queries.\nSupport purchasing, invoicing, stock checks, reporting and audits.\nLearn to use ServiceNow, our system for managing technology records and requests.\nHelp coordinate website security certificate renewals, with guidance and training.\nSupport secure and sustainable equipment disposal, helping us make responsible use of our technology.\nShare ideas for making everyday processes easier and more effective.\nAbout you\nYou might already work in technology, or bring useful experience from administration, customer service, stock control, logistics or another coordination role.\nWe’re looking for someone who:\nIs motivated, dependable and keen to learn.\nEnjoys being organised and takes care to get the details right.\nIs friendly, approachable and happy to help others.\nCan manage different tasks and ask for support when priorities change.\nIs comfortable using everyday computer applications and learning new systems.\nWorks well with others and takes ownership of seeing tasks through.\nEnjoys practical work as well as keeping accurate records.\nExperience in asset management, software licensing or ServiceNow would be helpful, but isn’t essential if you bring the right attitude and a willingness to develop.\nOur people are at the heart of everything we do.
